Welcome to Spade and Trowel Garden Club!                 

The primary purposes of the Spade and Trowel Garden Club are:    

  • To encourage the growing of flowers and shrubs

  • To promote decorating of the home with flowers and greens

  • To foster planting of natural materials and landscaping

  • To aid in beautifying the town

  • To aid in protecting our natural resources

"Conversation Pieces"

On April 8, 2008, Spade and Trowel enjoyed a presentation by Joan Parker (photo above) who demonstrated how to make arrangements from everyday, inexpensive items.  Pictured below, a garden tableau arrangement by Ms. Parker especially for Spade and Trowel Garden Club.
